We are proud to share recent insights from Martin Waana-Ang, who serves as our Policy Lead for Renewables and Climate Justice.
In a new article published by the Yale Clean Energy Forum, Martin explores the critical challenges facing the global climate regime. Titled “Thirty Years After Rio: The Climate Regime Faces Its Final Test in Belém,” the piece offers a deep dive into the “trust-breakers” stalling global progress and proposes structural changes.
While this analysis was authored in his academic capacity at Yale, where he is currently pursuing an LLM degree, it reflects the high level of expertise and forward-thinking leadership that Martin brings to the NexGen Deutsche-Afrik team.
